In December I put forward a motion, which was seconded by Councillor Josh Matlow, calling for an inquiry to get answers from Metrolinx on the specific reasons for the delay of the Eglinton Crosstown, and to get financial compensation for the residents and businesses that have been affected by this project which has now stretched over a decade.
The motion was adopted with an amendment which calls on the Ontario Government to launch an independent review.
