Lawrence Heights Community Safety Meeting & Safety Walk

On Sept. 10, 2020, we met with the good people of Lawrence Heights and held a very informative and productive Community Safety Meeting at Zachary Court. We received helpful feedback from residents and addressed concerns re: affordable housing, gun violence, safety issues and funding programs & workshops in the Lawrence Heights Community.

Local MP, Hon. Marco Mendicino and I will continue fighting to stop the “reign of gun terror “that plagues their community.

They want to ask the people of Toronto “what about us”?

Lawrence Heights Community Safety Walk

Together with the Lawrence Hts. Parents Association and the Lawrence Heights Change Makers, we took to the streets of the Yorkdale Area with the support of the local Neighborhood Police Unit to send a strong message to the people of Toronto and The Owners of Canada’s most Profitable Shopping Mall -Yorkdale.

We stand by the good people of Lawrence Heights and need concrete help from Yorkdale in their battle to “Humanize the Hood and to Stop the Shootings”.
