The search for Toronto's best Zeppole!
On March 19, 2026 I hosted the finale to our annual Toronto International Zeppole Festival at Cataldi Fresh Market, featuring seasoned judges and a live taste test of some of the city’s finest fresh zeppole to honour St. Joseph’s Day.
Auguroni to the fine pastry chefs at Cataldi for taking home this year’s top place, with Amico Bakery and R Bakery rounding out the podium.  Congratulations as well to Montesanto Bakery for claiming first place in the online voting, and thank you to all finalists who participated.
